What's the most challenging obstacle you've encountered in a project, and how did you overcome it?

In general, contractors who don't want to comply with construction documents. Being firm yet understanding their perspective of the situation can usually get thing moving in the right direction.

Avoiding stagnation. Keep learning, being challenged, doing and experiencing new things.

A dam. All that glorious concrete.

What's the funniest or most memorable moment you've experienced at work?

"You mark 'em and you catch 'em!" Ask Rusty about it.

What's your go-to karaoke song?

Assuming I've been properly lubed up to showcase my terrible singing voice, Kenny Chesney "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy".

If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only bring three items, what would they be?

  1. My boat so I could go fishing.
  2. My iPod shuffle so I'd have some music.
  3. Rum so I could pretend to be a pirate.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

The ability to grow hair on my head. I really want a mullet.

You just won a million dollars. What are you doing next?

I'm paying off my house and going to question 14.

If you could leave tomorrow and go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Australia.

What is a fun fact about you that most people wouldn’t expect?
