Site Development for Two Elementary Schools

About the Project

ES&S provided full civil site design services for the building of two significant elementary school projects for the Camdenton District.  Osage Beach Elementary School is a new 83,000 square foot campus in Osage Beach, Missouri.  Civil design features included site layout, grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, detention, on-site and off-site utilities, and a sanitary sewage lift station and force main.

The existing Hurricane Deck Elementary School, in Sunrise Beach, Missouri, completed a 58,000-sf addition.  ES&S provided full civil site design services for this expansion.  Services included first assisting with conceptual site plans for the layout of the new parking areas.  Site design services included grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, on-site utilities, new and improved parking areas, and site layout of building, parking lots and existing school playground.  Both projects also involved significant coordination among various local and state government agencies.  ES&S was a subconsultant to the prime architect, ACI Boland, for both projects.
