Adherence to Demanding and Dynamic Regulatory Structure
Since 1973, ES&S has maintained an analytical laboratory to serve clients faced with compliance with the demanding and dynamic regulatory structure that resulted from the passing of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1970, and a short time later, the Clean Water Act of 1972. Our services and capabilities expanded in the 1980’s, with the acquisition of another Columbia-based analytical laboratory that offered similar services.
In 2007, the A-Lab moved into its own 4375-sf facility, across the street from ES&S’s main office. Since that time, we have grown to be one of mid-Missouri’s leading providers of lab analysis for water quality, soil characteristics and variety of other analytical testing needs.
